About Me
I started my career in Biotech, after nearly 2 decades I was traveling the world, managing global Oncology Clinical Trials and budgets well over $100M. While I was working tirelessly every day in hopes of a breakthrough therapy, my health, energy and happiness was deteriorating.
Then, in 2012, I walked away. Burned out, exhausted and more than a few pounds heavier, I was disheartened by a medical system designed to wait until disease before it could offer me help.
I pivoted to dive deep into holistic medicine and integrate all of my experience and expertise to create simple and clear strategies to help women hit and maintain their weight goals, improve their energy levels, and reduce their risk of chronic diseases. Basically, to fill the huge gap I saw in mainstream medicine.
I've never looked back. And now it's more important than ever before.
When I'm not teaching or consulting you'll find me in the mountains.
In 2020, my husband and I left our loft in the city for 150 acres in Western North Carolina. Surrounded by nature, learning to grow our own food, raising chickens, keeping bees and wrangling our dogs. I share lots of our wild adventures and lessons learned on the blog.
